Queuing for sloppy numbers is the first in the series of portraits exploring macabre, textural undertones juxtaposed against bright, colourful backgrounds and graphical elements. All of these neatly compiled within a portrait. The portrait acts as a vessel for my experimentation, allowing the viewer to focus on what they want to see.
The title is purposefully vague and unrelated to the work itself for this very reason - allowing you the viewer to interpret the piece how you choose without any direction from me, the artist. My focus is on the process of creation as opposed to the final piece. This allows the work to move and evolve organically.
