Pyramid Sofra reimagines one of humanity’s most enduring symbols – the Sofra – as a luminous intersection of color, texture, and meaning. Found across countless civilizations, the Sofra is more than just a table or shared meal; it is a pattern of coexistence, a space of intimacy, ritual, and exchange. At its center, a radiant pyramid form anchors the composition – a visual and symbolic axis that evokes balance, elevation, and timeless structure. This painting captures the sofra’s essence not as a static object, but as a living energy – vibrant, rhythmic, and deeply embedded in our collective memory.
This work continues my theoretical and visual exploration of the sofra motif, which emerges here as both a literal and metaphorical centerpiece – a symbol of unity, tradition, and creative continuity across cultures.
“Sofra” – the gathering place, the shared space, the silent witness to human connection across time and cultures.
