Pug Macbeth

This piece is a section of a larger painting still in progress. It is from my Singularity series that uses the history of portraiture to paint a surreal imagined future world where man and machine have combined and what is left after that coupling.

I really wanted to share some more of my animal pieces here in Makers place as animals are always uppermost in the subject matter of my work. I love the play of humour and seriousness in this piece.
