Psyched affliction
This is the kind of image I like to do to represent afflictive states of the mind by modeling kind of peel structure which later I illuminate to project a shadow which results in a kind of creature who represented the spurious thoughts.
This also enables some dualism thinking by juggling with two virtual elements: solid and shadow.
In the technical side I performed the glitch of the 3d render with my own tools and then I selected some chaotic frames to apply color curves in order to get some psychedelical shapes.
Some RGB noise is added finally with some hand drawing symbols and pixels to highlight the hand craft aspect.
As a conclusion of this process some magic happens finally by turning something gray and crude into something colorful and transformative.
