PROTOLUX EGG

Of all the sentience pools that can be found in the Machine Garden, the Protolux Waters are the most rare and elusive. Many believe that these iridescent ponds were born of the First Light, and contain its power therein. Protolux eggs can be created only when these ancient waters are used to host a Surrogate's DNA. These eggs are very cold to touch, and have a strange light that hodls those who come upon them in rapture.

All eggs are coveted by the half-lives that feed on the living forms, but a Protolux egg will drive such creatures to madness in their desire. . . .
