Progreso

I read about Jesse Treviño, the artist who recently passed away. One of his works, "Progreso Pharmacy," brought back a childhood memory of my grandmother visiting a pharmacy in the town of Progreso, just across the border from where we lived in Texas. It got me thinking about creating a new series of art that explores the places I've been to and some that I haven't, including the ones I know well or maybe not so well. The places I love and maybe some that I don't.
