Private Parties

At first it's simple and starts like this; we gather together with our chosen companions, hosted by someone who most likely is our friend and trusts the safety of our presence, and above all else, we celebrate being together. This togetherness takes on different shapes in different geographies, but in this moment in time and space, it has a different perspective for us that we must simply experience to truly understand the meaning of words like support, comfort, a toast, hope, change, warmth, birth, migration - perhaps the definition of native words like studium and punctum are good examples of the incomprehensible understanding of these words. Words that, without participating in the discussion and just by walking in that small group, can lead me to the end of that discussion and vision of relatively clear picture of the chaos and coordination of our daily flow. The "Private Parties" photography is an ongoing project that focuses on the characterization and portrait photography of Iranian people.
