Pretzel Lady

After my combat tour in Vietnam, I took the long way home—took my cameras and traveled for a couple of years, through Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East, and Europe, snapping photographs all the way (you can read my story at www.billslongwayhome.com). “The Sellers” is a collection of photographs from my travels, a dozen glimpses of all kinds of vendors hard at work in markets, at carts, and on sidewalks all over the world. Now, half a century later, as I share these in a digital marketplace full of artists hawking their wares, I hope these photos remind us all of the humanity behind the transactions.
