When you are going to a place you've seen in thousands of photos it's difficult to take an image that's unique. I strive to create my own perspective in places by simply wandering and watching the light. As I waited on the desert sunset in southern Utah, I noticed the unique light cast on the landscape. I knew the last light of the day would highlight these rock formations perfectly. I could watch these scenes daily. It's the present pace of nature.
