Pollux had been there for millions of years, even longer than the world had existed. It radiated light from the part of the universe reserved for it. She fascinated other stars with her brilliance. However, although the wisdom of millions of years made it shine even more, it also showed that she was entering the final phase of her life. The inevitable explosion was approaching. She would bid farewell to her millions of years of existence and be born on the first day of her new life, perhaps transforming into a neutron star or perhaps a black hole. Although this change worried her, she was ready for new adventure with her usual strong stance. She would leave the past behind and discover a new path.
