Please Stand By - I Got Something To Say 166

Please Stand By utilizes the iconic SMPTE color bars template and changes the palette to bring into question viewers perceptions surrounding "standards of color." An offshoot of my original series, I Got Something To Say, adds an additional more literal message. Please Stand By, I Got Nothing Left To Say. 51 weeks ago I began on my journey into NFTs. I had an idea for a brand called Please Stand By, the message seemed relevant at the time for a number of reasons but as the project grew and I decided to make it a year long social commentary / pop culture based topical project I realized the phrase held a lot more power and importance in it than I originally thought. I'm very proud of the 166 pieces I've made along the way, I hope that people can look back on it and not just find a time capsule of the first big year for NFTs but also a bit of my personality. I'm so happy I got to bring awareness to important social and political issues, raise some money for charity, and create some cool art. Just because I don't have anything else to say, doesn't mean you shouldn't continue shedding light on any and all injustices you see. Art gave me a voice to bring to the forefront issues important to me, go out and find what helps bring you your voice. Thank you to all the people that found the project and supported it along the way. Without you guys I probably would have given up a long time ago. I'll be taking a break from NFTs for the near future but Please Stand By for future projects. Thank you, One Love!
