Plantains

Original acrylic painting on canvas later photographed into this NFT. Growing up in Dominican Republic plantains where everywhere and I learned to love the fruit before I could say a full sentence. I spent a few years living in NYC and during the cold winters I felt such longing of my country that I wanted to transport myself to that warm Island, but instead I painted this colorful and bright piece with one of the things that reminds me most of home: Plantains.
