Phrenology

Phrenology is the 'science' of studying the shape of the skull and it's valleys and extrusions which were claimed to give insight to the owner. The logic being the brain is a muscle and repeated habits or thoughts will accentuate the area to the point of growth. While dessication or reduction of brain matter perhaps could show a deficiency of moral aptitude or prediliction towards fetish or taboo behavior !
