"The Phoenix of the 21st Century: a reimagining of the myth of rebirth. The illustrations connect ancient animistic images with modern humanity, symbolizing the cyclical nature of life. The embodiment of this symbol is a bird, reborn from the ashes in the guise of a girl, capable of creating new wings from the bars of her cage. Like the Phoenix overcoming limitations, the heroine overcomes her obstacles, finding a new beginning. The graphic characters and animistic images reflect the contrasts and complexity of life, demonstrating the eternal connection between man and nature." These illustrations were created for the fashion collection of designer Yulia Kosyak from 2004-2017, titled "Phoenix XXI", which debuted on various world stages.
