Perspective 1/1 Spoken Word poetry around the theme from @rarebreeds.crypto of the single word "Perspective"
Perspective #1 So, I was invited to a fun bar with two new acquaintances We go out by the fire to be less around others,We have a lot in common. This is the same night Molly makes her presence Suddenly, I am somewhere in the country by a creek and it’s under 40 degrees fahrenheit We pitch a tent and start a campfire and just cuddle for warmth, very tender. Ground Rules Made and abided.
Perspective #2 Who is this guy who’s come into my life with this openness to pour his heart out to be who I barely know. Why are our conversations getting so deep and personal, feeling connected? I’m at a bar with my bestie, and hey, let’s invite this new friend I’ve made who I’ve known for a while but never really knew per se. OMG, it’s been so long, you look so different and happy. Let’s go outside by the firepit. Molly? Hesitantly, Yes please. I know just where to go. Body Massage feels great, but you know this can’t go anywhere further. (Ground Rules)
Perspective #3
Are we sure this guy is cool, do you think he’ll actually come out here? What’s his game plan with you, do you think? Oh hey, Rob, nice to meet you, want to get a drink? Let’s go somewhere a little less loud, outside by the fire. Molly, are you sure, is this for real Happening Now?? Let’s go, now! After perspective #2’s ground rules were also abided. Perspective #3 may have not been totally content, and felt adventurous of his own. Does he try to explore with Perspective #1 who didn’t set any ground rule, maybe But it all came out innocently and respectfully, More of an exploration of feeling someone out when you don't really know them.
Nothing, bad, regretful, or anything negative came about that night, for perspective #1, I can vouch for it personally. Just a beautiful night of meeting possibly long term friends that you feel you can already trust.
