People’s Canvas is a place where visitors can draw, sketch or paint whatever they want. Canvas can include anything, a blank space in Virtual Reality, a huge piece of paper, a wall, or anything that can be painted over, no matter what the medium. The idea is to start a moment where everyone, regardless of their experience with art, can pour their heart out and paint. In 2 days, DAZE was visited by over 400+ people and around 80 people sprayed- doodle- sketch- and painted over an incomplete canvas made from old newspaper and drawing sheets. The vision was simple, bringing people together to paint over an incomplete canvas from things that were supposed to be thrown in trash and making something that people can connect to and remembered. This experience itself made this one of a kind piece of artwork that is will be now minted on Makersplace. The actual artwork was torn off by some members of Cryptoart India Collective from New Delhi at the end of event just after the sun set and burnt for real. The artwork is well preserved in memory of people who made it and in photographs.
