Paramnesia

Memory disorders and disturbances expressed in false memories; there can be a mixture of past and present, as well as real and fictitious events. Paramnesia is often characterized by an overestimation of the influence of one's own personality on the outcome of certain past events. Paramnesias are qualitative perversions of memory
