Paper Cut Geometries 2026

This loop draws its origin from the daily loop published on March 29th, 2017 , in which basic geometric shape outline are morphing from one to the other. It was published on Tumblr as every daily loops created before and after.

2 years later, on March 30th, 2019, the same keyframed comp was transformed into a custom particle for a custom preset I was developing for trapcode Form. The idea was to create a paper cut collage style of looping background that can be installed as a preset to be loaded into the plugin in addition to the default ones that comes with it. The preset was shared for free on my patreon along with 4K background images. It is still available but now only available for members. https://www.patreon.com/posts/25734235

Now in 2026, I went back into the original source file and played with it to export a new trichromatic variant, after spending some time tweaking the parameters and increasing the presence of shadow.
