“P13-3C” is one of a series of digital captures of modern architecture, exploring the dissociative emotional effect these spaces have. It is created, in part, with commercially available real estate scanning software.

In the creation process I explored the removal of all “natural” elements. Choosing a sunless day, the image is a combination of lidar, digital photography and a “CG” trained GAN interpolation.

The real estate software, trained to scan average, contemporary homes, is confused by the I.M. Pei designed building, bringing up questions about how we are training the tools that extend our senses.
