Owharoa Falls

A long exposure captured in rapidly declining weather, it was a bit touch-and-go as the whether I would be able to pull this off. Luckily, the falls are close to the road and very easy to access and being the middle of winter at the time, not too many other visitors. These falls are considered to be one of the best in the region and quite rightly so.

Almost as soon as I'd captured this image, the heavens opened in time for a brisk dash for the car and a warm cuppa to reenergise a weary body from a long morning shooting.
