Overslept

This illustration took forever. All the inking was done by hand with a brush (yes, even all the buildings and broken glass) at 11 x 17 inches, then colored with photoshop. It is based on a story I wrote for Arsenic Lullaby in which an ancient god, Cthulhu, comes back to destroy humanity. However he waited too long and humanity already destroyed itself. Except for this one lonely fellow in a protective suit.
