Outlandish Love _ p1

When I created this piece I wanted to express an affair of the heart which is impossible. Regardless of how much two individuals might want to be together, sometimes it is just not working out. I wanted to depict a moment when the two lovers are together but at the same time they are completely disconnected. Their love cannot manifest and they look as though they are two different species. The red mushroom in the background suggests the natural high that love brings about, at the same time showing the evanescence of it.
