Origins: Ebb and Flow

The "Origins" series is the result of my collaboration with Matthew Rosenberg, a neuroscientist and artist from California. He began painting in 2007 and consulting for Refik Anadol in 2019.

My idea behind "Ebb and Flow" was to reimagine the canvas as a primordial shore, in which each brush stroke depicts the emergence of life and land, only to be erased moments later, as the next generation is born.
