Optimistic Prognosticator

VQGAN+CLIP images made from photos of world's fairs and universal expos, to remind us of a time when the future meant something different. When the images are stitched together they make an animation that can hypnotise the viewer into a state of naive optimism.

Concept made by 'The Scenius Machine', a generative idea generator guided by its community. This run was trained on ideas from Buckminster Fuller, Octavia Butler, exhibits from past world's fairs and dreams from over 3000 people collected during 2021. Purchase of every NFT gives access to the community and a chance to contribute to future tuning of the Scenius Machine.
