Opportunity's End

An interpretation of the final message NASA's Opportunity Rover sent from Mars before going dark in February of 2019, presented visually with analog VHS/CRT glitching created with vintage VCR and television hardware. The sound in this clip is a strange wail I’d never heard before that the VHS tape let out when playing back this footage, as if the machine was mourning its robot cousin.
