The animation overlays Maryanne's original paintings with textures of images from electron microscopes, crystals and other patterns from the natural world. Float through the image in a journey of transformation into the invisible.

The instruments used in this musical score composed by Peter Salomonsen are fully synthesized (no live instrument recordings were used). This technique, "WaveGuide" synthesis, is a method of physically modeling sounds. These sounds were implemented in the synthesizers of the "WebAssembly Music" project, which is another one of Peter's creations.
