One More Sunrise

We rarely know where kindness goes after it leaves our hands.

Most blood donors will never know whose life their kindness touched.

It may have reached a frightened child, a family holding on to hope, or someone who simply needed a little more time.

Yet they chose to give anyway.

Because we don't have to know where kindness ends for it to have meaning.

Perhaps somewhere, someone woke up to one more sunrise.
