Okuribi is a Japanese tradition observed at the end of Obon. Small fires are lit to guide the spirits of our departed loved ones back to the other world after they have returned to visit us during Obon. It is a quiet and meaningful way of saying goodbye, with love and gratitude, until we meet again.
