OBEY BITCOIN - ELON COMMANDS IT

Inspired by the messaging of the alien overlords in John Carpenter’s 80’s cult classic, They Live, the word OBEY is meant to invoke the propaganda used by to control the minds of unsuspecting Earthlings. In the piece, the “B” in OBEY is replaced by the symbol for Bitcoin, as Musk is synonymous with the its rise and the Tesla logo is embedded in his alien forehead. Musk is one of the world’s richest men and is a celebrity technocrat whose quest for Mars is unbridled. Using a vibrant color palette, Musk’s alien overlord visage is inspired by WW2 propaganda posters and 60's poster art with a memetic touch for the pop culture moment.
