Nyore

Nyore (Oghenenyore) means answered prayers in Urhobo (Nigerian tribe and language). Nyore is a piece created from celebration and reflection, based on my achievements, self-acceptance and art journey.

As an artist, I doubted my visibility and presence in society until I decided to take up space with my art and stories. I decided to not define my worth and value by the eyes of society.

The evidence of my visibility and significance is already in my existence and that of my art.
