I started with cuts, I went deep. Through the cuts, I took long strides toward my essence. Along the way, I encountered all the tasks I had postponed for later; they ignored me. They didn’t want to hear my apologies for neglecting them; they turned their backs and continued conversing with the others. I came across a massive brutalist structure made of the weights and lightness I had been trying to escape. The lights in the tall, wide windows of all the floors and rooms were on. In front of some windows, shadows stood motionless, while from others came the sounds of explosions and bloodshed. The sound of blood turned into a murmur, transforming into faint sound bombs that were too weak to deafen. Then I saw iron marbles moving down the stairs and rolling to the right and left. I watched as if observing a game—someone else was playing, but I was still enjoying it. Fireballs stuck to the roof of my mouth, yet I was still enjoying it.
