NICOTINE

Hi, I am Kiwi Kawaii! Let's discover substances! Is your curiosity high enough? ^__^ Very good, I am happy that you will accompany me into this journey. Substances, legal or illegal, they all have a story to tell. And I am just getting started, wait a second, let me light one cigarette. Speaking of which, nicotine is actually one unique drug as it can have opposite effects within context: when one is tired or sleepy, a cigarette containing nicotine can wake him up; on the other hand, when one is too jittery and anxious, a cigarette might calm him down. It surely boosts dopamine in small but powerful kicks. Nicotine is a highly addictive chemical and usually most of the dangers come from the route of administration which is usually done by mouth via inhaling the smoke of cigarettes. About the illustration: when we think of nicotine, we think of cigarettes. From one perspective, smoking cigarettes is something which is quite connected to an improved social life. It was actually pushed decades ago through advertisement propaganda, as harmless and something cool to do. However, there is a dark side to smoking, and that is the destruction of the lungs and the impairment of an optimal overall health that will forbid the smoker to age gracefully.
