Description
Argentina’s military dictatorship began with a coup on March 24, 1976. The regime carried out state terrorism, including forced disappearances, torture, censorship, and the theft of babies. Around 30,000 people were disappeared.
Every March 24, Argentina commemorates the Day of Memory for Truth and Justice, honoring the victims and reaffirming the commitment to democracy with the message: “Nunca Más” (Never Again).
