Connections many Thin as gossamer Together form A unique structure A community where energy can flow
Frost coated remnants of the seed covered stem of Lamb's Quarters are backlit by the morning sun as it cuts through the thick snow clouds. (Chenopodium album)
This piece is a gift dedicated to my wonderful collectors who have held my work safe, the connections we have made has brought me joy and a full heart in this creative exchange.
To close the year, having experienced enough trauma to last several lifetimes in a few short months alongside my witnessing of global horrors, I grieve who I was and celebrate who I will become. I hold hope, but I will never look forward for me. I will look forward for others, for our interdependent community. I hold hope as resistance, a banner, a cry. I shed what has held me comfortable and I speak to then. I am tired, I am wounded, but I persist.
