kālo'smi loka-kṣhaya-kṛit pravṛiddho
I am Time, the great destroyer of the worlds, and I have come here to destroy all people.
Krishna, revealing his Vishvarupa (universal form), shows Arjuna the terrifying truth: all the warriors on the battlefield are already doomed. Their fates are sealed. Krishna is not just a charioteer, not just a god—he is time itself, the force that consumes all things.
lokeshu pravṛittaḥ adya
I am here to destroy all people in the world.
