It is very easy to forget who we are, being rejected by people we cared about, we begin to believe that we are disposable beings. There are days when we don't recognize our own reflection and we feel that our skin is someone else's. It is a sensation that eats away at us as if it were a constantly expanding virus that little by little forces us to reject ourselves, it is a horrible sensation and that sometimes seems to be stronger than us. We are not our memories, we are not the idea that others have of us, we are not all those times we were rejected, how long has it been since you caressed your own skin? the only person who has been with you throughout your life is you, you have never left, maybe it is time to thank ourselves for being and enduring so much and not giving up when we feel most alone. At least I have myself.
