Naked Aggression

Yesterday I learned that Red Hat, a company I am considering working for, is supporting the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in their war against Hamas. The imbalance and abuse of power Israel wields over the Palestinians is obvious to me. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is also supporting the IDF, and the device I am using to write these words, generate these images, and earn my daily bread is an HP device, which I am quite fond of.

Would I purchase another HP device at the moment? No. Will I accept a job at Red Hat, amidst the pile of rejection letters I have received? Yes.

It's not a choice I take lightly, but this company would offer me the support and resources I need to develop my own skills, and whether I am inside or outside the machinery of war, I will walk my own red path towards peace.
