Naiad

Naiad is a name of Greek mythology. In Greek mythology, the Naiads were nymphs of freshwater sources such as rivers, springs, and fountains. They were considered to be very beautiful and were said to have the power to charm and captivate those who looked upon them. It is not specifically mentioned in the mythology that Naiads can hypnotize with their beauty but it is a common depiction in art, literature and modern media.
