My Murderer

“My Murderer” is a piece depicting dictator Ali Khamenei in the form of a kid’s drawing as Zahhak, an evil ruler in Persian folklore, who killed two young boys every day to feed their brains to the two snakes he had growing on his shoulders. The writing reads “In the Name of the God of the Rainbows. Artwork Title: My Murderer” in memory of Kian Pirfalak, a ten-year-old boy, who is among tens of children killed so far by Ali Khamenei’s forces in Iran’s 2022 revolution. Kian was killed in his dad’s car by direct gunshot of the armed forces. In a viral video of him, he’s been shown explaining his science project, beginning the video with the phrase “In the Name of the God of the Rainbows”
