Mr. X

In Mr. X's house, special attention was paid to art. Every room was drowned in luxurious works of great artists. A strange room with a single painting and a strange blue mandarin tree next to it deserved special attention.

"The Citrus Baron," was the caption to the work. There were spots of obviously fresh paint on it, one got the feeling that there was another painting underneath it.

Mr. X had heard of the harsh times in the world when a certain "Friends," another civilization from the depths of the Universe, came to power and took control of people's lives in all spheres. People survived as best they could, adapting to the new world order.

The author of the painting is a young artist who lived through that period. Where Mr. X acquired this work and what the artist's fate is, all remains a mystery.
