Moving into the void

We are surrounded by endless expanses of beautiful diversity in the universe. However, all of this exists only against the backdrop of a frightening void that has no properties other than itself. And in this huge string of accidents there is a light that can illuminate a tiny part of this vast horizon, this consciousness. It walks this earth, exploring everything around it and itself, but inevitably moving into the void from which it came.
