At that time we live in the same house, me and Nasrul usually have a lot of time doing nothing. So one evening we have an idea to make collaborative work, we finished the night with several pieces, and this is one of them. For this piece, it started with the collage that I made, then Nasrul responded with the drawing plus the nonsensical text.
berbudaya biar gaya beragama biar masuk syurga
bahaya berfoya-foya niscaya kuah soto tanpa "koya".
hidup di kota penuh agenda sang pemuda niscaya kaya raya
Which translated:
Cultured to be stylish Having religion to go to heaven
Dangerous if life is extravagant Surely the soto soup without koya (extra seasoning)
Life in a city full of agenda The young man must be filthy rich.
Even I, who have known him for 15 years, don't know the meaning of that text, maybe you do.
