Mountain Reflection

Travelling tens of hours within the fjord system of Greenland eventually the deep water gives out and we most stop. Leaving our small vessel we climb into the zodiac boat. Continuing to motor for another 30 minutes till we are touching the bottom of the fjord and can go no further. A short 20 minutes hike and we arrive at the view seen. Surrounded by mountains over 2,000 metres high pristine natural beauty lay all around us.

For hundreds of kilometres in all directions no one lives permanently in the national park. A few Inuit's hunt and seek provisions from the land Just wildlife including musk ox, polar bears and an array of birds populate this part of the globe.

A scene etched in my mind with nature doing what nature does...
