MORPHODIDIUS

Morphodidius is a butterfly name. A butterfly has four stages of life, from egg to larva, and on to pupa to adult. This guy on the painting has also various stages in his life. From idea to political action and sacrifices himself in the process. We all burn for our ideas in life, but are we willing to go all the way? The original painting is from 2015, 70 x 70 inches, acrylic on printed canvas in a private collection in Denmark.
