The moon falls into shimmering horizontal strands, bounces, and settles to form a necklace. The scene then inverts, the moon falls, the strands are pulled taut, and the cycle repeats. This illusion was accomplished with motion easings and simple geometry using the visual language Nodebox. A total of over 1750 "nodes" were used including subnetworks of my own invention. I used a clean public domain image of the moon.
