Mixed Mythos (cont'd)
Every deal in the netherspace, between life and death, exchanged for my revival,
Hades
took something of which
the Devil
was envious.
I never knew what that something was upon revival. These processes akin to the oblivion of dreams: recalling some can peril survival. I hit the apex of power with each rebirth cycle, ensuring nobody would derive power from death in an equal way. I was on my way, by trans-Atlantic voyage, on an enchanted raft that channeled my electromagnetic field for radiant motion,
to the lost chamber of Osiris,
the apocalypse
by fire
to be endured. The oceans began swirling.
A tidal wave rose
& I passed out as it reached its apex. Then when I awakened, I was far away. Frost and terrifying cold lay ahead. Icebergs. Behind me was the flame, chasing me into the cold. The power of reversal of these elements laid with
Poseidon.
It
was ready to talk and the last time he talked it was regarding
the apocalypse
by Floods
of my predecessor.
“It is time to kill off
other Gods
for the next generation of consciousness. That will span outward from
the Pyramid’s
underwater fortifications.”
“Underwater? Death contracts.”
He laughed & the fire behind me and the cold ahead of me closed in from both sides . “Pathetic. You believe yourself to have the power to reverse the elements. It was merely a trick. Believe yourself lucky if I deliver you to the Secret Chamber.”
