What happens when trust is broken?

Can a vase shattered into a thousand pieces ever be completely repaired? How do you mend something that can not entirely be put back together?

Do you let it heal? Scarred and changed forever.

Or, do you sever the ties that held you for so long and move on, knowing that in the end, you’ll find your way back into the comfort of those bonds once more - praying they remain unbroken because you can not bare that kind of pain… again.
