A photography mistake; What happened here?

I honestly don't know. When I got the negative from the photo lab this image of a flower was very red, even in it's negative form. I put it into my scanner and it was immediately clear that something had gone wrong. The reds were way too strong! With good spirit I took the opportunity to call it abstract, and create a new NFT artwork!
