Mirage

'Mirage'

Created for the 'Serenia' collection, a curation centered on calm, serenity, and stillness, Mirage takes raw catharsis and translates it into something soft, luminous, and calm.

The imagery is inspired by this artifact's accompanying song, "Mirage", originally titled "1 Frozen Tears". The song was created as a means to access tears that were locked away, and otherwise very difficult to reach. The goal of the song was to make something sultry and calm, reflected in the pro tools file name "SVLXTRY".

The piece carries feelings of happiness and pleasure, while still holding traces of melancholy throughout.

Mirage was chosen for 'Serenia' to offer collectors a one-of-a-kind experience of calm storytelling through sound and visuals.
