Midnight Veil

Midnight Veil is a visual exploration of the inner world, where deep emotions intertwine with mysterious symbols, perfectly aligning with the "Midnight Veil" open call. The artwork delves into hidden meanings through contrasting eyes: the right eye carries a glimmer of hope with bright colors, while the left sheds red drops suggesting suffering. It reveals the shadow self through the contrast between the sharp-lined, dark left side representing inner struggle, and the softer, more gentle right side. The piece echoes rituals and myths through its recurring shapes like masks and solitary eyes, embodying transformation, decay, and renewal via its geometric human figures and broken egg, and radiating an elegant darkness through deep shadows and stark contrasts, inviting the viewer to dive into the depths of meaning where mystery intertwines with beauty, and darkness with hope.
